12/14/09 :: [Other] Most Popular Content for 2009 [permalink]

2009 was a great year by many accounts, most of all, I am both happy and proud to have joined MomentumSI. I rarely have felt as good about my job. MomentumSI is a bunch of great people working on great projects with great customers. We specialize in SOA and Cloud, BPM and we do a bit of MDE.

In the mean time, ebpml is growing steadily, and here is a list of the most popular content:

Top Posts:

REST, PROCESSES AND RESOURCES, this is my most important argument against (the other) REST, so I am really happy it turned out #1.

METAMODEL ORIENTED PROGRAMMING, this is my first post on MOP and again, I am very happy that people are reading about it.

WAG THE DOG, this is my rebuttal of (the other) REST, which has proven to be a complete Fraud (Special thanks to Stefan, such an accomplishment)

WHERE IS OSLO GOING?, this was my prediction about where Oslo was going, i.e. nowhere... they sure know how to end up nowhere at the CSD.

REST CREATES STRONG COUPLING, this is also one of my favorite post, everyone speaks about "loose coupling" but nobody tells you really what it is, this post does. Thank you for making it #5 !

Top content:

Constructing Software for Service Oriented Architecture, this presentation has been #1 on Google for "Service Oriented Architecture file:PPT" since it came out ! Thank you again !

A Novel Approach for Modeling Business Process Definitions, an article referenced by the BPMN 1.x specifications

An Introduction to SOA, my introduction to SOA

The fastest growing content?

BPMN metamodel

I have great expectations for SOA, BPM and MDE for 2010. I am certain that these concepts will mature significantly, possibly more so than ever before as companies realize their value and how easily they can fix what they have been doing.

Happy Holidays to everyone !
