I often thought that I had seen it all, that there was no bottom below the bottom. Enterprise Software is the prototypical example of "wealthy cluelessness". Enterprise software vendors are loaded, sometimes, it's sickening how much money flows through them with the benevolence of some CIOs. When money is of no concern, some vendors reach the promised LaLaLand where everything you do makes sense, every product you make will finds buyers, where product management and product marketing replace customer focus with self belief and sales people can always say "yes" to customer requests.
If Tibco has way too much money to spend, why not giving it to charities? Pathetic.
